What the Android app does
Dual-format recording
One take produces both files, cropped from the sensor's full 4:3 frame so landscape keeps its full width. Rear and front cameras.
Manual controls
White balance temperature and tint dials, plus fully manual ISO and shutter speed on phones whose cameras support it. Free to preview, premium to record with.
Timelapse, 4K, 60fps
Timelapse with adjustable speed. 4K and 60fps where the hardware genuinely delivers them; the app checks rather than guessing.
Ultra-wide 0.5×
On phones that expose an ultra-wide camera, a 0.5× stop gives both crops the wider field of view.
Shoot sideways, get upright files
Hold the phone rotated and both saved files are tagged with the right orientation, so they play upright in your gallery, TikTok, CapCut or Premiere without a manual rotate.
Zero data collection
Same policy as iOS: no accounts, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. The Play Store Data Safety label reads "no data collected" because none is.

Android questions
Which Android phones work best?
Any reasonably modern phone records dual-format 1080p. Manual exposure, 4K and ultra-wide depend on what the manufacturer exposes; recent Samsung Galaxy and Pixel phones support the most.
Is the Android app a port or a separate app?
Native Kotlin, built specifically for Android's camera stack. Same recording concept, not a wrapper.
Will the teleprompter come to Android?
